This is the story of an actress, played by Gloria Talbott< who spirals into madness when shen finds out the man she loves has been killed in the Korean War. She gets caught writing bad checks and is sent to prison. When she is paroled, she starts getting her life back together with the help of her parole officer.

Subject: The Prison Within
Wonderful story , great cast and unexpected ending.
I wonder if this was thought of as a social issue short, somewhat educational ?
Anyway , thought it was superbly done all around.

Impetious or conservative? Act in Haste and repent in leisure; or Strike while the iron is hot?

Whatta wonderful simplicity of plots.... oh yes, there are several plotlines converging here.

Could it happen as portrayed? ...... Of course.

DID it actually happen to someone as portrayed? There is a distinct possibility.

Sometimes these plots are taken from real life.

Post traumatic Stress Syndrome and Traumatic Stress Syndrome aren't necessarily confined to combat participants. If you've ever really loved someone in harm's way; this piece is highly recommended viewing.

Subject: Upbeat Golden Age Half-Hour Drama
First-rate half-hour drama. Edward Platt has a small role. Gloria Talbott sure was pretty.

DuPont chemical company was an ideal sponsor for a dramatic series like this. Big enough to have good scripts and production, but not so big that the scripts were watered down.

Four Stars was an excellent production company.

I love Gloria's haircut!

I hope this isn't a spoiler, but I like the upbeat ending.

Recommend, recommend, RECOMMENDED!
